Saturday and Sunday, June 16-17
10:00am - 5:00pm
Come out and see Central New York’s finest, as area Volunteer Fire Companies bring their parade equipment to The Farmers’ Museum grounds Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, June 16 and 17. See trucks, pumpers and hose reels on display. Cheer on our firefighters as they march in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Father’s Day Classic parade down Main Street in Cooperstown at noon on Saturday. While at the Museum, be sure to take part in an old fashioned bucket brigade, meet the folks from Safe Kids Otsego County and learn about fire safety. Be sure to read all about the Great Fire of Cooperstown and see how burn salve was made at the Pharmacy. Don’t miss the display of the Museum’s collection of fire fighting objects.
