Are you interested in learning about the ancient art and science of beekeeping?  This in-depth workshop is for the aspiring beekeeper as well as those who are just curious. We will cover what is going on in the hive, the role the beekeeper plays, along with some beekeeping history and folklore. A visit to our museum apiary, weather permitting, will round out this hands-on workshop.

Fee: $35 NYSHA members, $40 non-members

Registration and Cancellation Policies:

  • Registration and prepayment are required.
  • Registrants who cancel 7 or more days in advance of the workshop will receive a full refund.
  • Registrants who cancel less than 7 days prior to the workshop will not receive a refund unless the participant's spot can be filled.
  • If The Farmers' Museum cancels a program because of weather, insufficient registration, or any other reason, registrants will receive a full refund.
